Looking for a custom design cladding solution in zinc or any other steel?
There are many variations available on the construction of wall cladding. One of the materials we use for our facades and sandwich panels is zinc. The finish of zinc panels can be smooth, but it is also possible to supply them with a patterned or weathered look. Each zinc wall cladding variation contributes to a certain design and can completely change the outlook on a building. Materials as copper, brass or bronze are quite popular for exterior wall cladding. But zinc cladding or stainless steel cladding are actually more durable and will have a positive contribution to wall cladding with their sustainable quality.
Zinc wall cladding is incredibly resistant to various weather conditions, because it is non-sensitive to rust and corrosion. This creates an advantage for zinc cladding if compared to regular steel cladding. With regular steel rust will appear due to weather conditions where with zinc cladding is resistant to various weather conditions. This makes zinc a metal with a very high durability. A zinc cladding system is likely to last for several decades. Zinc is also a completely recyclable material and can be re-used, which makes this building material effective and friendly for the environment. Zinc also has a high manufacturability and is perfect when constructing of wall cladding systems. The zinc cladding material is very ‘soft’, easy to form and to be fitted into the desired shape. Zinc cladding is often applied in the construction of hangars in industrial zones for example, but also on modern buildings and new housing estates. The popularity of the material for the usage of ‘zinc cladding’ is increasing. Here at AFS International we recognise the great possibilities of zinc cladding. This is why we offer several products made of zinc materials. Our Q-Linex system is offered in zinc. The Q-Linex is a lightweight single layer panel and is a very flexible panel system. We offer this panel in many other materials as well, like for example: aluminium, copper and stainless steel. Different lengths, sizes and thicknesses are available on request. Besides our Q-Linex system our Q-Excellent facade system can also be supplied in zinc.
We are able to offer the maximum design freedom and flexibility to meet the architectural expectations. Our team consists of engineers, designers and project managers, allowing us to create new designs from scratch, and provide the full working drawings AFS International is involved in every step of the development process and will assist wherever needed. Our video illustrates parts of our design and production process. This is the process of our sandwich panels, which is only a small part of our manufacturing capabilities.
