Fire Rated Aluminium and Stainless Steel Cladding

AFS International’s Q-Premium and Q-Basic honeycomb system was recently tested to NFPA 285 and EN 13501-1 for fire rating. These tests were undertaken under the supervision of Internationally accredited Consultant –Thomas Bell Wright International. AFS International B.V. passed the NFPA 285 test, and the Q-Premium system was certified under En13501-1 as CLASS A. The system comprises a 30mm thick aluminium honeycomb panel with a 1mm aluminium outer sheet and a 0,5mm aluminium inner sheet, bonded to an aluminium honeycomb core. The system was tested as part of an actual façade, incorporating a glazed unit, with all necessary system components tested simultaneously. The Q-Premium system can be used for High Rise towers as well for smaller buildings. Panel sizes up to 2200mmwide and a length of 8000mm.

Our team consists of engineers, designers and project managers, allowing us to create new designs from scratch, and provide the full working drawings. In partnership with a world-renowned test laboratory, these designs can be proven with strength, drop, adhesive and corrosion testing as standard. In this way, we can offer a package that allows us to design, and if required, provide a full façade package manufactured in our state of the art factory, that can be delivered to allow quick and efficient installation at the building site.
