PV Glass facade panels have a long life expectancy and improved degeneration rate compared to traditional framed PV panels. The glass and the ceramic print are not prone to aging under direct sunlight.
The silicon PV cells are fully encapsulated between 2 glass layers and are thus not exposed to the environment or weather conditions. Laminated glass for structural façade panels is more rigid and offers less deformation which is preventing the ever critical microcracking of the cells.
